I've been getting my stock blanks from Freddie since around 1982-83. His knowledge of what he sells is a product of many years spent as a professional logger: actually searching for and harvesting the trees Himself. His wood is not "Lumber yard" material, Kiln dried to the point of dessication. It is cut, and slowly dried, with the idea of turning it into a gunstock. His storage sheds hold stocks from plain , to WOW, to OMG!

If you need a quality piece of wood it is time well spent on a visit to see what he has to offer.

I have done business with Freddie for years.  I have always got my money's worth from him, and I have never once been disappointed with the wood.  What I really like about Freddie is that he also is a gun builder, so when I tell him what kind of gun I am going to make he knows exactly what I need in the wood.  I can order 1 blank, or 8-10 blanks,  and I always get treated the same way.  Perfectly!
